The engine gets its power by burning fuel. Burning the fuel also produces heat. This heat is combined with the heat generated by friction of the moving parts inside the engine. For proper operation, the engine temperature should be between 80°C and 100°C. Only 30% of the heat is harnessed as energy. Everything else of the heat generated has to be eliminated. 7% of this heat is normally dissipated to the environment, 33% passes directly through the exhaust, and 30% has to be removed by the oil and cooling system.

For the engine to remain at the proper operating temperature, the coolant must be working as it should. Over time, the fluid decomposes and is diluted with contaminants. A radiator flush coolant is needed to solve this problem.
